Tamara Pruitt is the Varsity Swimming coach at Waxahachie High School. Along with this, she teaches English Language Arts and Reading at Finley Junior High. Coach Pruitt graduated from DeSoto High School in DeSoto, Texas. She went on to obtain her B.A. in English from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. She was named the District Coach of the Year from 2011-2014 and 2016-2017.
