Larry Burton is the Coleman Junior High boys head soccer coach.  Coach Burton graduated from Pojoaque Valley High School in Pojoaque, New Mexico, in 1985.  From there he moved on to serve in the United States Navy as a Machinist Mate 2nd Class aboard the USS AMERICA CV-66.  Upon the end of his obligated service he moved on to college and received his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Kinesiology from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado.  Coach Burton started teaching in 2000 at Lancaster High School and coaching in 2004, moving to Waxahachie ISD in 2005.
