Coach Koch graduated from Ranger High School, received his B.S. degree in Physical Education from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, and obtained a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Athletic Administration from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. Coach Koch has been teaching and coaching for 29 years with stints at San Antonio Churchill, Flower Mound Marcus, Waco High, FW Castleberry, Azle and most recently Shadow Creek HS. Along with being a Texas high school golf state champion he has lead multiple golfers to the UIL regional and state golf tournaments and accumulated many district team championships. Coach Koch began his coaching career at Waxahachie in 2020.
