Eugene Rogers

Eugene Rogers is Defensive Coordinator and Head Track for WISD.  Coach Rogers graduated from Corsicana High School and graduate of Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos Texas, with a B.S in Education and Minor in Heath Education

Coach Rogers began his coaching career in Palestine High School. At Palestine, he coached Varsity football, freshmen basketball, and Varsity track. He then moved to Corsicana High School. At Corsicana he coached varsity football and became Head Track Coach. In 1998, he moved to Crowley ISD to help open North Crowley High School. He was the Assistant Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator, and Head Track Coach. He helped lead the Mighty Panthers to a State Championship in 2003. Coach Rogers left North Crowley in 2005 to be the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Manor High School, where in three years he led them to their first District Championship in 16 years. In 2008, he joined the staff of Billy Ryan High School in Denton, Texas where the Raiders were continually in the playoffs including the State Championship game in 2010. He left Denton Ryan in 2012 to become the Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Haltom High School. Coach Rogers then returning to North Crowley to be the Head Football coach. Coach Rogers then moved to Denton High as the Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach. Coach Rogers is proud to the Waxahachie Defensive Coordinator and Head Track Coach.
