James Beal Jr. is a 10th Grade English teacher/coach at Waxahachie High School. Coach Beal graduated from DeSoto High School in 1998 then went on to Arizona St. University as a student/athlete where he received his Bachelors in Communications (graduating 2001) and Masters (graduating 2003) in Educational Psychology. He began his coaching career in 2006 in DeSoto, Texas and came to WISD in 2021. Coach Beal currently serves as the Varsity DT coach, JV Defensive Coordinator, Co-Strength and Conditioning Coordinator & Associate Head Track Coach.
