Shawn Sparks is an Assistant Football Coach at Waxahachie High School. Along with this, he teaches World History. Coach Sparks graduated from Valley Mills High School in Valley Mills, Texas, and then attended Tarleton State University, for his B.S in Exercise and Sports Studies. He completed his Master in Education at Lamar University. Coach Sparks began coaching in 1997, and came to WISD in 2021.
