Lonnie Gaylor is the Women’s Golf coach at Waxahachie High School. Coach Gaylor graduated high school in Jacksonville, Texas. After high school, Coach Gaylor obtained his A.A. from Jacksonville College in Jacksonville, Texas and his B.S. and M.Ed. from Stephen F. Austin State in Nacogdoches, Texas. He began his coaching career in 1972 and began coaching in WISD in 1997. Coach Gaylor has numerous accolades under his belt, but some notable ones include being inducted into the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame and making numerous trip to the state championship tournaments in both golf and basketball, runner-up state championship in basketball in 1996, State Champion in Girls Golf 1994, named as one of the Top 100 Basketball coaches in celebration of UIL 100 years and has served as past president of the Texas Basketball Coaches Association (TABC).
