INDIANS /LADY INDIANS COMPETE AT REGIONALS; CURRY HEADED TO STATE

The Indians and Lady Indians competed in the UIL Regional Track Meet last week and came away with a personal best and state bound runner!

Representing the Waxahachie Indians in the Regional Meet was Josh Harris in the Triple Jump. Harris placed 10th with a personal best of 43' 10.25"

The Lady Indians were represented in the 1600 and 3200 meter runs. Emma Curry won the 1600 m with a time of 5:03.65, Emilee Jones placed 8th 5:21.43 and Alyson Moore finished 12th 5:33.70. In the 3200m race, Curry placed 2nd 10:53.27 (3/10ths of a second from 1st), Emilee Jones placed 7th 11:31.50 and Alyson Moore placed 9th 11:45.62.

Emma Curry will move on to the State Track Meet held in Austin on Saturday May 8th.
