Cross Country Competes at McNeil Invitational

The Varsity Girls and Boys traveled to Round Rock to run at the McNeil Invitational. McNeil is the biggest race in Texas and it gives teams an opportunity to run at the State Course. Emilee Jones and Cori Morgan ran in the Gold Division and both did really well. Emilee finished in the top 20 and ran a time of 18:30 and Cori Morgan finished in the top 50 with a time 19:13. These are the best runner in the State of Texas running in one race at the same time. Jaime Gonzalez ran a 16:53 in the Gold Division. Lyndsay Giles, Whitley Blakenship, Tessa Dominy, and Keeley Hearron all ran well in the 6A division. Braden Buegeler, Ezra Perez, Eli Nance, Lucas Molina, Conner Schmidt and Dakoda Moreno also ran in the 6A division.
