A four-run seventh inning propelled the Waxahachie Indians to a two-game sweep of South Grand Prairie on Friday.
The Warriors scored one run in the bottom of the third inning and then tacked on two in the sixth to take a 3-1 lead into the top of the seventh inning.

Xavian Thompson got the Indians one-out rally started with a five-pitch walk. DJ Hollywood and Kelly were then walked on six pitches to load the bases.

Aaron Tesei then singled into right field, Campbell Sullivan doubled to right-center field and Peyton Graham singled through the left side for a 5-3 Waxahachie lead.

The Indians used three pitchers in the final district contest of the season.

Jordan Fay took the ball for the first three innings, allowing one earned run on three hits and three walks with two strikeouts.

Colton Lee and Casey Kelly each tossed two innings in relief. Lee allowed two earned runs on two hits and two walks, while Kelly worked two scoreless.

Kelly earned the win after surrendering just two hits and one walk. He worked around a lead-off single and one-out walk in the bottom of the seventh inning, retiring the final two Warriors on a fly out to left field and ground ball he handled himself.
